The Sri Lankan Society of Lifestyle Medicine (SLSLM) is on a mission to tackle non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through lifestyle interventions that make a real impact in clinical settings and at the community level. We’re looking for a visionary and entrepreneurial Executive Director (ED) with strong communication skills to guide our organization toward a healthier future.

Position Title: Executive Director
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (20 hours per week)
Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications
Bonus: Two-month performance bonus based on achievement of pre-set targets
Location: Sri Lanka (Remote, with periodic local travel)
Key Responsibilities:
- Upscale revenue generation and fundraising efforts
- Provide leadership and strategic direction
- Oversee operational management
- Engage stakeholders and build community relationships
- Manage performance to drive organizational success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, public health, or the nonprofit sector in Sri Lanka or South Asia.
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a postgraduate qualification in healthcare administration, nonprofit management, business, or related fields.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nonprofit management, business, or related fields, with a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in social media, public relations, and digital marketing strategies.
