IBLM diploma certification cost for 2025 :
Physicians (Medical Doctors) Fee: 400 USD
Allied Health professionals fee: 300USD
Please note: this price is ONLY for the first 40 registrants in 2025
The exam cannot be cancelled, refunded or deferred.
Thereafter candidates have to pay full price as below:

Scholarship for 2025

The Sri Lanka society of Lifestyle medicine is awarding a limited number of scholarships for the IBLM diploma certification in 2025. We believe that every doctor, nurse and allied health care provider needs to be trained in Lifestyle Medicine, the root-causes of chronic diseases and how to address them.
Supporting health care professionals to earn degrees and become leaders in Lifestyle Medicine is not only a worthy cause but absolutely needed to shift our current “disease management” model of health care towards prevention of disease and healthy living.
Eligibility criteria has been established to ensure that the recipients are both qualified and have the potential to make a meaningful impact in the field of lifestyle medicine in Sri Lanka.
Criteria for applicants:
1.Must fulfil eligibility criteria for the IBLM exam: A background in medicine with a license to practice in Sri Lanka currently employed in the country or an allied health professional with a master/phD
2.Experience working in health care related field
3.Ability to demonstrate their passion for lifestyle medicine in an essay highlighting prior work experience and volunteer activities related to the field
4.CV submission: ideally demonstrating a history of or a commitment to community service, particularly in promoting health in underserved populations.

1.Desire to be a leader in lifestyle medicine
2.Interest in research and publication
Scholarship Awarding Process:
- Initial Application: Submit academic records, essay ( min 500 words) and CV with a cover letter. Please email the documents to education@slslm.org.lk
- Eligibility and essay review +/- interview with shortlisted candidates.
- Final Decision: Based on professional, personal and potential commitment to the field.
Please note: The IBLM certification scholarship is ONLY for the year 2025. It cannot be deferred.
